Open House for Accepted Students on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 and Bio/Academic Form
Students are notified of SHSAT results by the NYC Department of Education, not by Bronx Science (results were released on March 18. 2019).

2019 NYC School Survey
Each year, all parents, teachers, and students in grades 6-12 take the NYC School Survey. The survey is aligned to the DOE's Framework for Great Schools. It is designed to collect important information about each school's ability to support student success. Click the headline to access the survey online.

Spring Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on the evening of Thursday, March 28, 2019 (5:30-8:00pm), and the afternoon of Friday, March 29, 2019 (12:30-2:30pm). Teacher Room Assignments coming soon. Students will have a Special Schedule on Friday, March 29th.
Mandarin Language Students Win at Hunter College Chinese Speech Contest Sponsored by Columbia University
Freshman Carlos Sevilla won 3rd place in level 1, junior Victoria Franklin was awarded 2nd place in level 2 and freshman Briman Yang won 3rd place in level 3. Bronx Science Student's Artwork Chosen for Exhibition
Lucy Del Deo, a student in Ms. Asch's Digital Photography class, has had an artwork selected to be exhibited in the group show "Viewpoints, Stories and Connections." The exhibit is part of ArtsConnection’s Student Art Program. The sponsor and exhibitor of the show, Kekst CNC, selected artworks by only 12 student artists. Congratulations to the Girls Fencing Team
The team had an outstanding day at the PSAL Season Opener on Sunday, March 17, 2019. Lauren Kim and Anya Zakharov took 1st place in foil and epee, while Katya Kurchin and Jacqueline Song rounded up the 3rd and 4th place positions in foil. Click the headline to see a photo of the athletes.
Junior Joanna Zhao will receive the Youth Leadership Award from the New York Yankees
Joanna will attend Community Board 11 Day at Yankee Stadium for the on-field ceremony to receive the award, which is scheduled for Tuesday, May 14, 2019. Congratulations Joanna.
Mandatory Spring Sports Athlete Workshop
Wednesday, March 27th in the auditorium at 4:00 PM. All student athletes on Spring PSAL teams must attend to be eligible to play on a spring sports team. All athletes must sit with their team and coach.
