ArtsConnection’s Student Art Program Selects Bronx Science Students' Artwork for Group Show
Lola Murti, William Nicholls, and Eliana Halpern, all students from Ms. Asch's Digital Photography classes, have had artwork selected for exhibition in the group show Brave is... . Italian Language Students Published in "Il Giornalino"
Daniela Castro, Taylor Chapman, Sarah Green, Davide Hallac, Abigail Johnson, Yilin Manfredi, and Pietro Saia, Mr. Salvatore Guercio's Regents level Italian language students, were published in the Italian journal sponsored by the Calandra Italian American Institute at Queens College. Their poetry ranged in themes from family, friends and love to school, seasons and travel. Bravi! Buon lavoro!
French for the Day
On April 12, 2019, Ms. Souquet Lucente's AP French class went on a field trip to the Alliance Française to see a concert of the group "Ajoyo" led by Franco-Tunisien saxophonist Yacine Boularès followed by a Q & A with the musicians. They then visited the current exhibit of French photographer "Momentum" by Guillaume Bresson and ended the afternoon enjoying crepes for lunch!
