OBJECTIVE: The Third Year course seeks to develop ALL four language skills:
listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Students will develop the ability to
comprehend formal and informal spoken Spanish. Acquire vocabulary and grammatical structures that will enable them to read, write and have a conversation in Spanish. Students will develop the use of Spanish to express ideas orally with accuracy and fluency through the ACTIVE participation of in class discussions. The main purpose of this class is to prepare students to be able to handle taking the advanced courses available the following year. This course culminates in a NYS REGENTS Exam.
