The Advanced Spanish Conversation course seeks to develop and integrate language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Students will develop the ability to comprehend formal and informal spoken Spanish. Acquire vocabulary and grammatical structures that will enable them to read authentic Spanish Language sources such as Hispanic newspapers and magazine articles, as well as original Hispanic literature with ease and accuracy. Students will compose informal writing as well as essays in Spanish demonstrating control of complex syntax, correct usage of verbs, punctuation, precise vocabulary and good command of conventions of the written language. Students will develop the use of Spanish to express ideas orally with accuracy and fluency through the active participation of in class discussions and presentations. THIS COURSE IS EXCLUSIVELY CONDUCTED IN SPANISH.
