Judith Younger has had a distinguished career in the areas of family and property law. Younger graduated from Bronx Science in 1950 and went on to receive her B.S. from Cornell University, her J.D. from New York University and an honorary LL.D. from Hofstra University. Younger clerked for a federal judge (Hon. Edward Weinfeld of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York), was a partner in her own law firm, and was an Assistant Attorney General of the State of New York. She has now taught at a total of six law schools and served in various administrative capacities. Ms. Younger has received numerous recognitions for her work in the field of law, serving as the first female dean of a law school in New York, a member of the United States Supreme Court bar, and a recipient of the Stanley V. Kinyon Chaired Teacher of the Year.
