Former Secretary of the Navy Dr. Richard Danzig has been an advisor on multiple security councils and panels, and is now a consultant to the Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity and a member of the Homeland Security Secretary’s Advisory Council, among many other stellar positions. Danzig served as the 71st Secretary of the Navy from November 1998 to January 2001, as well as an advisor to Former President Barack Obama during the 2008 Presidential election. Among many important roles, Danzig is the Chair of the Advisory Panel for Idaho National Laboratories’ Innovation Center and a Senior Advisor to the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory. After graduating from Bronx Science in 1961, Danzig studied at Yale Law School and Oxford University, where he was a Rhodes Scholar.
