The Bronx Science Alumni Foundation organizes a series of programs each year at Bronx Science, in New York, across the country and across the world. Each program is designed to help alumni connect with each other, to connect with our students and help continue to make Bronx Science an outstanding public school.
Programs are advertised continually throughout the year – please email email@example.com to ensure that we have your current contact information. Below is a sampling of current programs.
Project Accepted – Project Accepted is an event devoted to alumni conducting practice college interviews with Bronx Science seniors. Project Accepted is an opportunity for students to meet with alumni for personalized help on how to prepare, practice and finesse their interview skills, develop their personal brand and hone their strategy for applying to college. Students need alumni help to learn how to make themselves stand out and how to put their best foot forward. Hundreds of alumni participate every fall allowing us to conduct more than 800 individual practice interviews.

Past speakers include Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, Nobel Laureate Robert Lefkowitz ’59, scientist George Yancopoulos ’76, astrophysicist Neil de Grasse Tyson ’76, UN Ambassador Samantha Power and many more.
Alumni in the Classroom Series – Each year several distinguished alumni speak to Bronx Science students about their careers and their path since Bronx Science. This is a unique way to connect with students in an intimate setting and for many of our students, they find connecting with alumni inspirational.
Site Visits – One of the best ways to prepare students for careers in an opportunity for students to visit a company and learn from professionals there. Past site visits have been to Google, Tesla, Facebook, Regeneron, NASA and more. Alumni who are able to host students at their company, should contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
