The Bronx Science Alumni Foundation organizes a series of programs each year at Bronx Science, in New York, across the country and across the world. Each program is designed to help alumni connect with each other, to connect with our students and help continue to make Bronx Science an outstanding public school.

Project Accepted – Project Accepted is an event devoted to alumni conducting practice college interviews with Bronx Science seniors. Project Accepted is an opportunity for students to meet with alumni for personalized help on how to prepare, practice and finesse their interview skills, develop their personal brand and hone their strategy for applying to college. Students need alumni help to learn how to make themselves stand out and how to put their best foot forward. Hundreds of alumni participate every fall allowing us to conduct more than 800 individual practice interviews.

Famous Speakers Forum – Bronx Science has a long history of hosting outstanding prominent speakers on campus. Past speakers include Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, Nobel Laureate Robert Lefkowitz ’59, scientist George Yancopoulos ’76, astrophysicist Neil de Grasse Tyson ’76, UN Ambassador Samantha Power and many more.

Alumni in the Classroom Series – Each year several distinguished alumni speak to Bronx Science students about their careers and their path since Bronx Science. This is a unique way to connect with students in an intimate setting and for many of our students, they find connecting with alumni inspirational.

Site Visits – One of the best ways to prepare students for careers in an opportunity for students to visit a company and learn from professionals there. Past site visits have been to Google, Tesla, Facebook, Regeneron, NASA and more. Alumni who are able to host students at their company, should contact

IDEAS Initiative Programs – Alumni with experience in engineering, computer science, innovation or entrepreneurship are encouraged to get involved as mentors with one of our new programs.

Networking Receptions – The Bronx Science alumni network is one of the most powerful in the country and the Bronx Science Alumni Foundation hosts networking receptions to allow alumni to connect with each other.

Regional Programs – Bronx Science live all over the country and the world. The Bronx Science Alumni Foundation hosts programs all over allowing Bronx Science alumni to reconnect with the school no matter where they live. Recent programs have been held in San Francisco, DC, Chicago, Florida, London and more.
