The Bronx Science Speech and Debate Team had an Exemplary Showing at the Newark Invitational

The Bronx Science Speech and Debate team had an exemplary showing at the Newark Invitational held during the weekend of January 11, 2020. Click the headline for details about the team's successes.

In Novice Public Forum Debate, the team of Luke Ellerstein (’23) and Sabrina Tiger (’23) broke to quarterfinals. The team of Asuka Koda (’23) and Elizabeth Matta (’23) had a winning record as well.

In Novice Policy Debate, the team of Julia Kneile (’23) and Guy Bloom (’23) had a winning record. Additionally, Aron Kim (’23) earned 12th speaker.

In Varsity Policy Debate, the team of Teri Lam (’22) and Declan Hilfers (’22) broke to quarterfinals.

In Varsity Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Dahlia Bekong (’21) placed 12th and earned 13th speaker.
