The Bronx Science Speech and Debate Team Excelled at the Glenbrooks Tournament

During the weekend of November 23, 2019, the team excelled at the Glenbrooks Tournament. Click the headline to read about the team's performances.


In Varsity Public Forum Debate, the team of Benjamin Oestericher (’20) and Elias Silver (’20) broke to semifinals, earning a Gold Bid to the Tournament of Champions, with Benjamin Oestericher (’20) earning 14th speaker. The team of Aerin Mann (’21) and Kate Reynolds (’21) broke to double octofinals, earning a Silver Bid to the Tournament of Champions. Additionally, the team of Tenzin Dadak (’21) and Ayanava Ganguly (’21) had a winning record.

In Congressional Debate, Jonathan Bar-On (’20), Garreth Hui (’20) and Arjun Mazumdar (’21) broke to semifinals, all earning bids to the Tournament of Champions.

In Duo Interpretation, the team of Elana Abrams (’21) and Enza Jonas-Giugni (’21) broke to quarterfinals.

In Program of Oral Interpretation, Adam Osman-Krinsky (’21) broke to quarterfinals.

In Varsity Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Annie Wang (’20) had a winning record.

In Varsity Policy Debate, the teams of Akif Choudhury (’21) and Luca Musk (’21) and Isaac Rjavinski (’20) & Eugene Toth (’20) had winning records.
