Bronx Science 2019 Yearbook Takes Top Honors For Journalism, Photography, and Graphic Design From Three Major Journalism Competitions

The Bronx High School of Science yearbook, The Observatory, has won a First Place Award from The American Scholastic Press Association, a Silver Medal from The Columbia Scholastic Press Association (missing Gold by 10 points out of 1,000 total), and a First Class Honor Rating from The National Scholastic Press Association. The Bronx High School of Science yearbook, The Observatory, has won a First Place Award from The American Scholastic Press Association, a Silver Medal from The Columbia Scholastic Press Association (missing Gold by 10 points out of 1,000 total), and a First Class Honor Rating from The National Scholastic Press Association.

These are the three most prestigious high school student journalism competitions in the country, and The Observatory has taken the top publishing prizes in two of the three competitions!

Congratulations to the Journalism students and to the Yearbook Graphic Design Studio students for their achievement!
