Bronx Science victorious again at the NYCFL McEvoy tournament

The Bronx Science Speech and Debate team dominated the NYCFL McEvoy tournament held on October 5, 2019.

In Congressional Debate, Sadie Karp (’21) placed sixth and earned a qualification to the New York State Forensic League State Championship, while Thomas Bakos (’22), Angelena Bougiamas (’22), Montana Lee (’21), and Chirag Kumar (’20) broke to finals.
Bailey Stephen (’21) championed the Original Oratory category and received a qualification to the New York State Forensic League State Championship. Raitah Jinnat (’21) also
placed fifth in Original Oratory.

In Dramatic Performance, Lauren Cho (’22) placed fifth, and Chloe Schamisso (’21) placed sixth.

In Varsity Oral Interpretation, Charlie Valencia (’20) placed fourth.

In JV Extemporaneous Speaking, Raisa Barshai (’22) placed eighth and received a qualification to the New York State Forensic League State Championship.
