Congratulations to Lucian Dobroszycki '19 for winning a Grand Award at the 2019 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) held in Phoenix May 13-17, 2019.

The Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) provides an annual forum for more than 1,500 high school students from about 70 countries, regions, and territories to showcase their independent research as they compete for over $4 million. ISEF is the premier global science competition for students in grades 9–12.

Lucian Dobroszycki, Tahmid Ahamed, Jialin Zhuo, Mohammadou Gningue, senior Research Program students, were part of a team of fourteen students who represented New York City at ISEF, held in Phoenix May 13-17, 2019. Lucian won Third Award (Grand Award) in Behavioral-Neuroscience for his project, A Neuromodulator Exerts Antagonistic Effects on the Network State of Aplysia californica.
