The exhibit is part of ArtsConnection’s Student Art Program. The sponsor and exhibitor of the show,  Centerview Partners selected 240 artworks by NYC student artists from a number of public schools.

When asked about her photograph, Lola Murti stated, "This photograph was taken from my rooftop in Long Island City, Queens. The high elevation allows for a panoramic view of the skyline of both Western Queens, as well as Manhattan across the East river. Being so high up can frighten some people, especially at night when not everything is visible. Bravery is exhibited by conquering these fears."

William Nicholls stated the following about his photograph, "This photo was taken in Megève, France, at the top of Mont Blanc. A brave, daring skier stands at its summit - prepared to drop into the difficult slope that lies ahead of him."

The three artworks will be professionally framed and hung in the exhibit for one year. Student artists and their families are invited to an opening reception to view the exhibit. The large photographs, printed on 17" x 22" paper, were produced in-house thanks to the generosity of faculty member, Mr. Thorp.
