Bronx Science Speech and Debate Team Excels at Lakeland

During the weekend of March 2, 2019, the team competed at the Lakeland Westchester Classic. Click the headline to read about the team's accomplishments.

In Lincoln Douglas, congratulations to Annie Wang (‘20) for reaching semis after being undefeated in prelims, as well as coming in second for speaker awards.

In Policy, Eugene Toth ('20) and Daniel Iskhakov ('19) and Isaac Rjavinski ('20) and Emily Chan ('20) made it to octafinals. Daniel got 15th speaker, Isaac 17th, Eugene 24th, and Emily 27th.

In Novice Policy, congratulations to Delara Moussavi and Aissata Barry for making it to semifinals of the novice division of Lakeland.  Aissata got 1st speaker and Delara got 3rd.

In Public Forum, the team of Andrew Kamen ('19) and Zayaan Shariff ('19) and the team of Beattie Bernfield ('19) and Pascal O'Neill ('19) reached quarterfinals, and Ayanava Ganguly ('21) and Tenzin Dadak ('21) reached semifinals.  Tenzin and Ayanava got their first silver bid.
