Bronx Science Speech and Debate Team has a Strong Performance at Princeton

The Speech and Debate team competed at Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey, during the weekend of December 1, 2018. Click the headline to read about the team's successes.

Major congratulations to Nathaniel Felmus ('19) for coming in 3rd, Sydney Teh ('19) for placing 7th, and Helena Macrigiane ('19) for reaching finals in Congressional debate.  Further congratulations to Eshaan Modi ('19) and John Feighery ('19) for reaching semifinals in Congress. Helena and John are now fully qualified to the Tournament of Champions (TOC).

In Public Forum, congratulations to Benjamin Oestericher ('20) and Elias Silver ('20) for breaking to quarters.  Further congratulations to the teams of Alex Ellerstein ('19) and Eli Zerof ('19) and Andrew Kamen ('19) and Niso Nahmiyas ('20) for making it to runoffs.

In Lincoln Douglas, congratulations to Howard Wang ('20) and Harper Learmonth ('21) for breaking to outrounds.

Finally, congratulations to Amanda Gilsten (‘19), Victoria Ono (‘19), Charlie Valencia (‘20) and Adam Osman-Krinsky (‘21) for all receiving TOC bids in their speech categories.
