The Bronx Science Speech and Debate Team is Triumphant at Fordham Prep

During the weekend of November 3, 2018, the Bronx Science Speech and Debate Team excelled at the Fordham Prep Tournament in the Bronx, New York. Click the headline to read about the the team's accomplishments.


In Congressional Debate, major congratulations to Caroline Gallagher (’19) for championing the tournament, and Arjun Mazumdar (’21) for coming in second place.

In Speech events, Charlie Valencia (’20) and Andy Geagan (’20) came in third and fourth in Oral Interpretation, Noelle Barile (’21) and Jing Mae Wang (’21) both made it to finals in Dramatic Performance, and Owen Tumer (’20) made it to finals in Varsity Extemporaneous Speaking.   Additionally, Elana Abrams (’21) and Enza Jonas-Giugni (’21) came in second in Duo. Further congratulations go to Juliet Daniel (’21) for coming in second in JV Extemporaneous Speaking and to Kelly Liu (’21) for coming in fifth, making Kelly fully qualified to states.
